However, I learned over time that the Battle Hammer alone, wasn't enough to win a match against the many skilled Nsiders and players from Gamefaqs. Although I had the best Battle Hammer in Metroid Prime Hunters, the weapon isn't enough to play competitively.
Of course, I still used it for a period, using it just for the challenge. I used a sensitivity of 15, a level that was perfect for the Battle Hammer. With my fast reaction time, I could react to each of my opponent's moves. Most people would run from me, because they would always get hit with the blast radius from the Battle Hammer, and my aim which I was launching each shot.
After getting five stars, and not getting a single Headshot on my Hunter License, I started to practice competitively, I used other affinities to my advantage, including the Imperialist. But, I wasn't able to maintain a steady aim with the Power Beam, Volt Driver, or Imperialist. I cut my sensitivity in half, to 7, which yes, hurt my Battle Hammer aim. I recovered it, in time, and my skills with other weapons began to slowly grow as well.
For practice, I played on Council Chamber/Elder Passage with 3 star Bots. Since there is so much elevation on those two maps, I could practice my Battle Hammer aim, to perfection after a few hundred matches.
After that, I played on different maps and gametypes, so I would have experience in just about anything. If you want to become a skilled Weavel, you can use just the Battle Hammer for a challenge, or expose yourself to all the other affinities now, to gain a head start on experience.
For the Challenge, and for the Competition, it's up to you. Be aware that using the Battle Hammer alone on Wi-Fi, is very hard to cope with. A lot of players will run from you, you may find yourself left frustrated. I was used to this, and I didn't give up, which left me with a 80% win ratio on Wi-Fi.
As you probably know, Weavel is no walk in the park, but I wish you luck, for playing as a low tier hunter can reward you with challenge and fun.
