a storm!

hay the reasont i wasnt on is because in washington there was this big storm that took out my power for 8 day with no generator! and also my internet got back 2 weeks after the storm. It was so cold like 20 degreese in the house! i still have cold memorys and sorry for putting this in the wrong subject.

I heard about that, it knocked out 2 states, almost like the big blackout of 2003 on a smaller scale and of different causes. I remember being out of power in Washington for 3 days during winter, but I was maybe 5 years old and all I really remember was sleeping by the fireplace watching the occasional spark escape through the wire screen, the fire was kept going through the whole thing because we had a massive pile of firewood stacked behind the house. I take it you had no fireplace or no firewood?
