Mr Touchds.com has a sister...

...but I'm afraid she isn't quite born yet.

Right members it's time for a change. Well not a change, just an "addition" to the mother of all DS sites, Touchds.com. Myself and Dave (the founder of this site) have had a very interesting conversation on MSN Messenger and we have decided to make a sister site from Touchds.


The site name, content, style and admin is still under wraps but we can confirm that it WILL accomodate both DS and PSP but don't go flaming just yet. Myself and Dave's aim is to make members from different Forums, both PSP and DS, unite and discuss in a more interesting, interactive Forum space.

The new website will do it's best to deliver news for PSP and DS but also give members access to shorter, much more easy-to-read Reviews and Previews.


I know the majority of you will hate the idea of this but, just give it a thought...please. And I can inform you that I will NOT be leaving Touchds.com

I'm involved at a level and think it's an awesome idea. TouchDS, although a great website with great people on the forums doesn't have a massive market, whereas a handheld website does, being able to pull both PSP and DS fans, as well as people who enjoy the old argument ;). I think I can safely say members of TDS will be invited to join that forum, as well as staying here, of course!

LKR, I don't run the website or anything, but it's a bit early to be asking to become admin of the site. I'm sure they'll welcome help from everyone (I've already been appointed a reviewer, hehe), but surely you'll have to become a bit more active on the site before asking to become such a high-up position? It's a fresh start for everyone, after all...

I don't get it. What happened to all the changes for Touchds you've all been promising for months and months? What good will another site do?

i beleve that they wish us all to migrate to this supposivly new and improved site when it opens ans you cant keep 2 sites running with the ammount of active members we have and the new site is mean to feture all hand held gaming stuff in i susspect to bring in more people to make the comunity alot bigger then it is now

We want new members and of course the regulars that we have to add personality to the site when it goes on "air".

Updates are impossible for this site because Dave is now officially sick of this place becuase of the lack of enthusiasm shown by the current manager of the site, Allen. He does nothing but, if you remember, when Dave was the manager, he handled the site much better.

Basically, Dave is up for making a fresh start, a site that will be updated becuase he will be the manager. Let me make this clear, Touchds.com is haing no updates because Allen is not willing to make any.
