New look in the making

As you can probably see, Touchds.com is changing. This is mainly becuase, perosnally I was sick of the light and airy feel before and as we wont ever get back the old format I can customize what we have right here.

Over the next few days, you'll see crazy colours popping up and some weird thingd happeneing but dont worry it won't effect the posting, shoutbox, your membership etc. If I feel that it will, I'll close the site temporarily and notify you with a time when she'll come back up.

the dark red text is definetely not workin imo

and some of the bars are too dark

Hmmm, I just wanted something different other than just grey :S we need colour. Any suggestions? Remember it has to be in keeping with "Nintendo"

yeah i think the bars need to be lighter... its too big of a contrast in colors here to really "look good" imo

Bright red text over black is the way I imagine the Nintendo logo most of the time. Dark red over dark gray is blending in too much and I strain to read the text.

whew i thought something went wrong with my new graphics drivers :S i hate the first week of new drivers :P

black bars with strong red letters would work nicely is u can make the writing a bit chunkier.
i once tried a background image on a website i needed to do for college but its hard to get the right image. i used a picture from fzero-gx and it was hard to read stuff :S. looked quite nice mind :P. if u do use a background picture try and keep it as unobtrusive as possible....maybe a pic of a white ds lite of something.

Personally, I love it. Just tone down the dark grays one shade so the contrast isn't so harsh. I'm really lovin' the red...
