My main point to argue is that some people just need a starting place. They can certainly start in this "Intro" board, and become more comfortable.

But when it comes right down to it, Baronen, we're all attention whores. And don't you dare say you aren't, because then you'd be lying. That, or addicted to morphine.

Because, sometimes, I may force myself to peek into the section, and find everyone smiling and beeing friends and hugging and then I have to go away to bite myself in the arm.

Or not. And yes, it would hurt actually. There's no reason to have it, really, and imo it would just be moronic. I mean, come on, starting place. How about finding a thread about a game you like and then state your opinion (with a few reasons of course), eh? It's not hard.

But, well, if everyone else feels it's a good idea despite my quarrels then I guess there's nothing I can do about it. I just thinks it's uneccessary, cheesy, uninteresting and boring, that's all.

How about a multi-purpose forum for a bunch of things people don't care much about? Such as for intros and banned members (if that's easy to manage) and you name it.

Well, I have a problem with your "first I say calm down which makes me seem more adult and responsible, because I am capable of having a discussion without resorting to curse-words, which then covers up me not actually having any arguments to back up my opinions apart from "it works well at other forums", at least to the un-trained eye"-attitude.
