New Site: Styles

Hi,

I see that some people like the default style, like me , and some dont. So what we need to do is either improve the current style, or choose a new one.

I can keep the other styles available, but it would be nice to decide on a default one, this would then get all the main development work done on it, and would be the focus of the site.

Now one option is to get a custom style designed for us. This will cost, but I'm happy to pay if we can all decide on something we want.

So what do you guys want to do - improve the current style(s) or go for a new one, and in the meantime work with what we have?

I believe you shouldnt spend money yet. I have been through all the styles and now im back at the default one. Its good. The format and the way it is presented is nice and I like it. Its only the banner that stands out. I think you should just work on improving the default one. We'll hear what the others have to say.

Good thoughts - I like the sound of that really. Certainly the banner needs improving, but I'm not against the idea of getting a custom style if thats what more people want.

Perhaps its something when we've sorted the other elements of the site.

Is it impossible to have a style that resembles the old one?
Also ive been searching round the site and i cant find where i can change styles.

Sure we can have a style that resembles the old one, but it would have to be custom designed. Before I go down that route I'd like to get everyone behind the idea.

Also if we get a new one designed, it'd be good to maybe get a really funky one that is focussed on looking very 'DS' like?

You can change styles with the drop-down menu in the far bottom left of the website.

Its working now, it seems once you select "lite" you cant go back and change the skin.

There should be a link with this style (the default one)

Its in the centre at the top.
I can apply it to other styles if needs be.
