Maybe you should take a page out of Nwizard's book (hurry, I'm about to burn it)...

I really don't like making posts that are just quotes or copies of another sites articles, so what I did was I created a "Newsflash" module and anything I just wanted people to see but didn't really want or need to comment on I just put up the link. Bigger stories or ones I want to say something about I posted as regular news.

Also, can we stop the "Game X has new screenshots!" posts? Only high EXTREMELY high profile games deserve those, otherwise I don't think it deserves the front page...
