Rep?

We never use rep on these boards I've noticed...I got a few back when I was a new user, but that was about it...

On other boards, it's a big deal, why don't we ever use it here?

Because it's not properly advertised (Come on, it's a small icon of an x). Also, there isn't a proper rewards system in place for having a higher rep.

There is a proper rewards system: You get more little green squares...

Most forums I'm on don't have rewards, but still it's a huge thing...

The shiny-ness of rep wore off on us really fast. I personally find it useless now, since I've yet to read a post in months that made me go "OMG! Rep 4 U!"

Maybe I'm just a grumpy old bastard. Who knows?
