A trading board?

I know TouchDS is a pretty small site (AT THE MOMENT), but I think a 'trading board', perhaps attached to the Lounge, would be a good idea.

When more and more members join, perhaps more people will be searching for games, want to trade, etc etc.

I'm currently wanting to find a trade on Virtua Tennis and trying to locate a copy of Castlevania, so a trading board would be extremely useful for me!

Dude, you can't be PMing people your address so you can gae a darn game. This site is gonna be responsible is something goes wrong. I say no. But it's not up to me. Now a psp game save trading thread would be nice!!!!!!! No personal info required just upload the save as a .zip and we'll download it. But try ebay

Actually - I think it is a good idea - as long as we are not held responsible for any trades that go wrong.
Members could get TRADE scores like eBay too so that people know who is worth while trading with and trusting.

If more people want it then i'll have a talk with the other guys and see. I did a trade with Euan and he didn't rip me off anyway :P

Yeah same. I would trust almost every member here, and already I have performed two trades with Dave and Chuddy...

Not everyone has to do it - and make sure you make the site not at fault if anything does go wrong...

Well, of course the board wouldn't be held responsible if someone got ripped off. Du-uh.

But yeah, I'm game. What would have been cool (which works on another forum I'm currently active on), is a topic where people post plusses and minuses based on trades with other members. That way, the members with most successful trades would be on the top of the list (which would be in the first post, edited each month or something by the thread starter). Anyone see what I'm trying to say?

Fine with me. I don't see any harm in the trading board for the meantime, those uncomfortable with it, you don't have to trade, remember that...

Like, you know. Say we two trade games. When I recieve the game you sent me (and I'm pleased with the deal) I basically post "+ to Euan_hmfc for trading *game* with me." The thread-starter has a list with names that he updates once in a while, that people can check to see if people can be trusted or not.

If we go ahead with this, I should be able to add a field to your profile that has a trader rating. You can add a rating (positive, negative or neutral) to a user when you trade with them. This could include a comment.
