Battlefield has always been focused around team strategy, where teams fight for control points to help them take the win. There's other modes too of course, like CTF and TDM, but they mostly go unnoticed. From what I hear, BF2142 takes a lot from UT2004 as far as the general futuristic feel and at least one of the modes that UT2004 has been one of the few good games to have.

im pretty good at battlefield, but my stupid pc cant handle battlefield 2 :( but if i could id probly go down but id happily take ppl on :P i suck at deathmatch games... but on my PS2 im killer at battlefield so id probly be good on pc too...

Being good at a console game doesn't mean you'll be just as good at the same game on PC, it's a completely different form of control.

true, however im good at FPS i just hate games like CS... but yeah the console games are usually harder in FPS so really if anything the mouse would make it easier and be a blessing... but yeah :P best game my lapttop can run is Sims2... but umm outta curiousity is 1942 dead online??? coz i thing my pc can handle that..

Download the UT04 demo. It's a big demo with online multiplayer, really fun. And I'm sure your computer can run it.

yeah i might do that at months end... stupid dl limit haha, but yeah its the damn ATI mobile graphics, its shared memory and not powerful enough... but for the record my pc is
AMD Sempron M 1.8ghz 512mb RAM 64mb shared graphics 40gb hdd

yea my laptop says it has advanced graphics technology and is pretty new, but it sucks so bad. its a ATI mobility Radeon 200m. can barely even run with a game being played haha. but other than games its a great laptop
