I've heard that the Micro is exactly like the DS, only smaller and only plays GBA games, meaning no multiplayer or backwards compatibility.
Also, as I keep saying and as I should probably shut my mouth about, I never really had any glare problems with GBA (except when it came to getting video of the action), my screen remains looking brand new, which surprises me since I don't care for it an incredible amount. The batteries aren't too much of a problem since they usually last a good 10+ hours, but I agree Lithium is probably the best type of battery. Ever since I got my GBA, I never wanted to go back to vertical again probably unless it was a good next gen. like DS, fortunately the DS is wide, I almost never get cramps with the wide style and I always got cramps after about 10-60 minutes of playing vertical style (both GB and GBC). The worst problem I've had with my GBA is that the casing is a tad cheap, especially the battery cover, and a battery grip attachment of the same or similar material ended up breaking the clips and cracking a part of my GBA casing. Given the fact I had a low budget all along, the lighting never bothered me, I hate vertical style, and my screen never had problems with protection, I never wanted an SP and when it comes to debates I strongly defend the GBA as if I really hate the SP (and I think I sorta do anyway).
The Micro is honestly a big step backwards because it eliminates backwards compatibility, multiplayer, screen protection (from SP), a few other minor features, and it's probably as wide as the vertical style and would cause cramps.
This is all my opinion of coarse and I might as well mention I've played incredibly little SP and haven't seen GBM for real yet, I'm just running off the info I've been told.
