reviews really mean nothing.

fire emblem also falls behind in review scores than NSMB, but i'd take fire emblem over NSMB ANY day. lunar legend also has worse scores than sfc, and i'd still buy lunar over nsmb.

its a great game but don't weigh everything just by reviews. its all personal preference.

When reviews are just landslide one over another, it's obvious which game is going to more likely please you. And note, there are gamer reviews in there too, and in this case EVERYTHING shows NSMB way ahead of SF:C. It's just that people on this forum wouldn't know quality gameplay if it bit them in the ass...

Well, on the gamespot scale, it's a matter of Great vs Spectacular. And really, personal preference comes into play quite a bit here. I know some games that have fairly low scores, but I would take over many higher rated games...

lmao man NSMB beats every fire emblem by a LANDSLIDE(cept 7, which it just kinda beats) as well.

but yet i WAAAAAAY prefer fire emblem.

If you look at if from the standpoint of someone who's played neither, it makes more sense to go with the game that the world agrees is better...

I didn't literally mean judge them by graphics. I meant to take what you have learned FROM the reviews and make your own judgment. After all, most people said the PSP would beat the DS by a landslide, but most of us were smart enough to make our own judgments...

but yeah, im not a mainstream person, so i don't even bother looking at reviews when i want to get a game. i go for the games i tend to like, not just the great-reviewed ones
