wtf?

No, I'm talking about the full retail version of Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360.

What do you mean? There's no way for you to have played that, and I just compared the trailers for the PC vs Xbox my self. They're the same. If they're not, it's because of your computer. It's a port.

Heck, they even share some of the same trailers. There's a reason for that.

Beleive me, I've played the full retail version. The trailers don't show you a SINGLE thing. I've seen them side-by-side (PC running at 1600x1200, all settings high, average of 55fps; X360 version running 1280x720(p), 60fps average, FSAA). The difference isn't so much night and day, but it is noticeable. The Xbox 360 version is more fluid, and the "dust" and particle effects are much, much better.

I've seen FEAR (too lazy for all those danged periods) particle affects full blast. Cool, mouth-wateringly cool, but not really worth the lag they cause. They aren't quite as cool after 10 minutes.

And how did you do this?

Lag sucks. Virtually no lag on the X360 CoD2.

You want to bet on Xbox Live? I don't think it'll do it that well online with a respectable amount of players. Regardless, the PC version gets to be better by default. It's an FPS on the PC. A minor graphical upgrade matters not.

ANY online game lags with a certain amount of players and general latency issues. There's a difference between connection lag and machine lag. You're mixing them up.

One can lead to the other in my experience... Both are a problem, but even a little bit of both are a very bad thing.

Quite true. But, it's usually bad connection = laggy game, laggy machine.

So... wait... we just screwed up a topic.
